Paul Shah(Nepali- पल शाह) is a Nepalese actor and model known for his work in Nepali Cinema and music industry. One of the most popular young actors in Nepal, he also made appearances in music videos before entering the film industry .[1][2][3][4][5]
Shah's first music video was Timro yaadmaa runchhu achel which was not quite successful in the industry. But his fame flourished after ' Ko hola tyo, Hello Hunny Bunny, I love you bhannai Janina ' named music video with Prakriti Shrestha.[4] His turning point is considered to be “Hunny Bunny” song. He has acted in more than 150 music videos,[3] Paul got his filmy break through Nai Nabhannu La 4 which was huge commercial success and since then has made appearance in the highly successful romantic drama Ma Yesto Geet Gauxu, action entertainer Johnny Gentleman and multi starrer family drama industry hit Satru Gate which is among the highest grossing Nepali movies of all time establishing himself in the Nepali film industry.[6] He won Best debut actor in DCINE Awards 2016 for the movie "Nai Nabannu La 4".[7]
He will next be seen in Bir Bikram 2 the sequel of 2016 Blockbuster film Bir Bikram directed and produced by Milan Chams opposite Najir Hussain and Barsha Siwakoti and Hridaya Bhari which will be directed by Suraj Subba Nalbo of Sayaad fame.
