Oracle 12c : Convert blob to sql literal
.everyoneloves__top-leaderboard:empty,.everyoneloves__mid-leaderboard:empty,.everyoneloves__bot-mid-leaderboard:empty height:90px;width:728px;box-sizing:border-box;
I got an Oracle DB 12c where TableName1.FILE
is a blob type column. Currently I want to generate an insert query so that I can use it on my SqlLite TableName2.FILE
which is also a blob column.
I expect to generate this kind of query
INSERT INTO TABLENAME2 (FILE) VALUES (X'<sql binary literal>')
So, how can I convert my Oracle DB blob column to generate that sql binary literal ?
I tried to use this one, but I got ORA-06502
exception
SELECT
dbms_lob.substr (FILE, 32767, 1 ) head
FROM TableName1;`
sql oracle oracle12c

Don't convert it to character inserts. Save the BLOBs to OS files usingutl_file.put_raw
See Here asktom.oracle.com/pls/asktom/…. There's a working example at the end of the post. Then copy them to your target folder of the server where SQLite is hosted. I don't know SQLite,but importing binary looks like Child's play compared to Oracle stackoverflow.com/a/35960885/7998591
