Fåberg Church in Lillehammer


Fåberg is a village and former municipality in Oppland county, Norway.


The parish of Faaberg was established as a municipality January 1, 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt). On January 1, 1964 Fåberg was incorporated into the neighboring municipality Lillehammer. Prior to the merger Fåberg had 13,381 inhabitants.[1]


The Fåberg district contains the villages of Fåberg and Jørstadmoen. Combined, they form an urban area with a population of 1,342.[2]



The name[edit]


The municipality (originally the parish) was named after the old farm Fåberg (Norse Fágaberg) because the first church was built there. The meaning of the first element is unknown; the last element is berg 'mountain'.


Until 1921 the name was written "Faaberg".

PHP code is not being executed, instead code shows on the page

266 58 I'm trying to execute some PHP code on a project (using Dreamweaver) but the code isn't being run. When I check the source code, the PHP code appears as HTML tags (I can see it in the source code). Apache is running properly (I'm working with XAMPP), the PHP pages are being opened properly but the PHP code isn't being executed. Does someone have a suggestion about what is happening?
