Event handlers added in external scripts on load event works only after first click on window in Edge
When I launch this page on MS Edge, wheel event doesn't fire. But when I click on page, listener starts working. This issue appears only in case of separate js-file. Does anybody have idea why?
index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html lang="en">
<head>
<meta charset="UTF-8">
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0">
<title>Scroll Snap Demo</title>
</head>
<body>
<script async src="script.js"></script>
</body>
</html>
script.js
window.addEventListener('load', function()
window.addEventListener('wheel', function()
console.log('wheel');
)
);
browser version:
Microsoft Edge 41.16299.665.0
Microsoft EdgeHTML 16.16299
Also in some other versions of Edge wheel handler starts working only after opening dev tools or doesn't work at all.
