ABC Jazz is a digital radio station, available on mobile devices, DAB+ digital radio, digital TV and online. It is operated by the ABC Jazz team at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC).[1]

Jazz has been a part of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation music radio offer for many years, and it was originally broadcast on ABC Classic FM. Dig Jazz was launched as a digital only station designed to broadcast a variety of different jazz styles including bebop, acid jazz, cool jazz and contemporary styles of Jazz. As with other ABC DiG radio stations it did not have full-time announcers, however jazz news and the ABC Jazz feature album of the week were announced throughout the day.
Programming[edit]
ABC Jazz builds on the great reputation ABC Radio has for specialist jazz programming and will appeal to fans and musicians alike. ABC Jazz is an important part of the Australian jazz community and features releases from the best jazz musicians in the country, and from around the world. It also includes original jazz performances recorded for ABC programs such as Jazztrack.[2]
