Cantor's roundleaf bat (Hipposideros galeritus) is a species of bat in the family Hipposideridae. It is found in Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam.
It is named after Theodore Edward Cantor, a 19th-century Danish physician, zoologist and botanist.[citation needed]
Description[edit]
Head and body length is 7–9 cm. Forearms 5 cm. Wingspan 27–30 cm. Weight 6-7g.
Females are larger than males. Generally deep reddish brown. Can vary from almost blackish to bright reddish brown. Underside is paler. Pelage silky. Ears are short and broad with the outer margin concave below the blunt tip, inner margin is highly convex.

Known as කෙස්-දිගු පත්-නාස් වවුලා (meaning "long-haired leaf-nosed bat") in Sinhala.
