php pthreads: pass object to parent

I notice that I'm unable to use objects created in a child thread in the parent thread.

Let's say inside a synchronized function in of a class that extends 'thread' I create an object, and a property:

$this->hit = true;
$this->synchronized
(
function ()

$this->obj = new stdClass;
$this->obj->result = "you have a result in an object.";
$this->result = "you have a result in a property."
$this->wait();
$this->hit = false;

);

... and then I try to get it on the other side of the synchronized function in the parent thread:

if ($job->hit)

$job->synchronized
(
function ($job)

$job->notify();
echo $job->obj->result . "^^^Getting object created in child thread doesn't work for some reasons^^^.nn";
echo $job->result . ", and that's ok.n";
,
$job
);

The following will complain:

PHP Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in
/srv/cordmon/src/SleepThread.php on line 71
^^^Getting object created in child thread doesn't work for some reasons^^^.

You have a result in an property, and that's ok.

I've made several attempts, which I won't list here for the sake of brevity, but I can't seem to get an object out of my child threads, and into my parent thread. Other data types do not present this problem, and so I imagine that I could get what I need from arrays in real world usage.

Still, I'm wondering why that is, and if there is a correct way to do what I'm attempting. I know that threads are not in the main scope, and I know that anonymous functions also have their own scope, but I assume there must be a way (other than e.g. using json_encode/_decode, or similar work arounds).

Thanks in advance.
