Dict into ListView so I can add Swipe to Delete
I would like to use ListView instead of View so I can add 'swipe to delete' to each item in the list. However, I am not sure how to do so. I have mapped my dataSource to key-val pair here.
render() {
if (this.state.isLoading)
return (
<View style=styles.container>
<Text>Content is loading</Text>
</View>
)
else {
let tasks = this.state.dataSource.map((val, key) =>
return <View
key=key style=styles.item>
<Text style= fontWeight: 'bold' >
val.header </Text>
<Text> val.description </Text>
</View>
);
My JSON file looks like this:
[
"id": 4,
"url": "someTask",
"header": "t1",
"description": "t1",
"priority": 3,
"duration": 30,
"due": null,
"owner": "someURL"
,
"id": 6,
"url": "someTask",
"header": "laundry",
"description": "",
"priority": 2,
"duration": 30,
"due": null,
"owner": "someURL"
,
...
Simply changing View to ListView here doesn't work. I know this is a very basic level question -- could someone help me please?
Also, if someone could tell me how to add 'swipe to delete' to each row after successfully implementing ListView that would be great! I am using https://www.npmjs.com/package/react-native-swipe-gestures.
