Kinect Fusion SDK color

Hi I'm currently trying out the Kinect Fusion app that is provided from the official Kinect SDK(using a kinect v2.0 btw)
Under the image options, there was an option to "capture color" but when I tried to save the mesh(in ply form), there was no color information. Does anyone have any idea how to get a colored version of a 3D mesh taken using Kinect Fusion?
