Android kernel error: undefined reference to 'mfg_check_white_accessory'

actually it is my first post here nd i hope to find answers for it
i m not such a native programmer i m tryin to figure out what i need
i m trying to port nethunter to my mobile phone (htc one m9 plus) i downloaded it's kernel from htcdev download center but to make it simple so as not to download it heres github repo for it
link: https://github.com/tbalden/android_kernel_htc_m9pw
i searched in many tutorials online how to modify a kernel nd recompile it via many cross compilation platforms
and based on nethunter's wiki i followed every single piece of instruction
link: https://github.com/offensive-security/kali-nethunter/wiki#70-porting-nethunter-to-new-devices
but with tons of errors, tried to fix some of them but still there r many facing me
problems i fixed mis-matched paths for some libs
nd finally i got dis error which i cant fix enter image description here

so i wld appreciate any help for fixing such an error
