AppOne to Node Server to AppTwo

We have two Angular Applications running on Nginx(1.14.1) and a Node service which will redirect from AppOne to AppTwo on click.
Using a 302, we are able to redirect. But when we pass cookies in the 302 request, Nginx is throwing an error saying Header - Cookie size too large. There are two cookies, one is 400 in length and the other is maximum 20.
Everything is on the same domain. In local development, everything seems to work fine.
400 Bad Request - Headers - Cookie size too large.
node.js nginx redirect
