Marko Web Framework: how to position nested components dynamically?

I am creating a component that will receive an arbitrary number of image urls and will create sub-components to display and manage each one of them. The positioning is based on values of the objects and the scale of the container.
I cannot find an example of how to position the sub-components at run-time. The style
section does not have access to the component's state, although I might be able to use a calculated value in the HTML section in an explicit style=
clause. Is that a reasonable solution?
If this is a Solved Problem, or if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.
Cheers

First off, glad you're using Marko! Second, I have a question: are you needing to position them in a grid, a mosaic, or something else? Could you include more description around "position the sub-components"? -- Thanks!
