Dhokal Singh Basnyat (or "Dhaukal") served as the governor of the Kumaun and Garhwal divisions of Uttarakhand state in India. He is the youngest son of Senapati[1]Shivaram Singh Basnyat and was the first
owner of Narayanhity Palace.[2]
