Sori is a symbol that corresponds to a quarter step higher in tone in Iranian traditional music.[1] It looks like an ">" sign crossing two vertical lines, and can be used like an accidental.
Alinaghi Vaziri, a well known Iranian master in music, established this sign in the early 20th century.[2]
