How Change WordPress Default Settings and Other Styles in default theame

I want to build a website with top fixed navigation bar and slider. So Im using smart slider (https://wordpress.org/plugins/smart-slider-3/) plugin to design slider. So i want to put it on top of my home page. but there is a space top of the navigation.
Like This :

you have to provide some code your template file + css. Right now no one can help you...

It is a wordpress default theame. I can't provide code in here. its too large. Can you create website using default wordpress theme.

yes, of course. What you can do is to simply inspect you page (where the slider is) and see where this space comes from - maybe is some css you'll have to edit
